Congratulations!
Mohamad Saoud, research assistant at our chair, was awarded with the faculty's Best Paper Award. His paper “Not My Cross to Bear! Refugee Immigration and Crimes Against Non-Refugee Foreigners” was the most convincing at the faculty-wide research seminar in the winter semester 2024/2025. The award was presented by Prof. Dr. Andreas Knabe, Faculty Commissioner Research Affairs.

Our chair-member Omar Martin Fieles-Ahmad has won the Best Paper Award for his paper "I got 99 Problems and a Birch is One: Seasonal Allergies and Road Safety in the UK". He presented his paper at the FEM Research Seminar in summer term 2025. Fieles-Ahmad was honored by Prof. Dr. Andreas Knabe, Faculty Commissioner Research Affairs.
